I love that song. Great melody and instrumentation. ::happy sigh::
So, inspired by Andrea and Jenn and Julia, and since I have this perfectly good blog just sitting here, and since many people I know aren't living in the same city (or even state, haha) as we are, I've decided to *gasp* actually post. I'm not much of a writer - I use far too many dashes and parentheses, for one, and am at the same time a stickler for grammar and a "let's-just-type-all-lowercase-and-invent-new-words-today!" girl, and can't always put my thoughts into coherent paragraphs to boot (that is when I pull out the bullet point updates!) -, so bear with me please. :)
So. Whirlwind update: I'm working at a library part-time as of late May, and enjoying it muchly. Re-reading the Harry Potter series in preparation for the movie coming out whenever it's coming out (July?), and enjoying that muchly. Getting ready for a crazy next few weeks - three weddings, all involving travel of some sort, and all very exciting :) My love took his bighugeimportant test last week, which means he doesn't need to study (yay!), which means we can actually spend s'more time together (double yay!!). We need to wait six weeks before he gets his results though (which doesn't seem to make sense - it's a wholly-multiple-choice, computerized test - but it's a chance to walk out trusting God, right? Of course right.).
I read recently a magazine article about a contest they issued in which you had to sum up your life in six words. I think Ernest Hemingway was challenged to write a story in six words (the inspiration for this contest, obviously), and this was the result: "Baby shoes for sale, never used." Brilliant. Makes me want to read some of his other works... anyways. That got me wondering... how would I sum up my life in six words? (talk about a whirlwind update!)
Life in NM. God is faithful.
Marriage to my best friend = incredible.
Change is here to stay. Yay. (this I got from my first boss - it's certainly proven true thus far!
Surprised by love. Better than imagined.
Quirky house, friends, husband, always new!
Haha. It's an interesting exercise (sp? I can never tell with this word...) to be sure! What would you say?
